Quansett Nurseries, Inc., founded in 1980, is a wholesale grower of container plant material. We are located in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts, a coastal community about halfway between Providence, RI and Cape Cod, MA.

Spread over fifteen acres, we produce a large variety of unusual annuals, herbs, perennials, ornamental grasses, groundcovers and vegetables. We ship from Maine to New Jersey on our trucks every week during the busy season and through the mails anywhere, anytime. Our trucks run a weekly schedule to specific areas so that our customers can depend on us for being at their locations on a regular basis.

Our customers cover a wide spectrum including garden centers, landscape contractors, landscape architects, other nurseries, municipalities and florists. The diversity of our customer base is as important to us as the diversity of our plant material. The input from our customers helps us determine what plants to grow and how to package them and we welcome your suggestions.

Many of the plants we sell are propagated at the nursery and we are always searching for new varieties that we feel have ornamental and environmental appeal. We also grow for specific orders placed in advance. This is an excellent way to reduce prices as it helps us reduce costs. We believe in a flexible approach to the market place and constantly experiment, not only with new varieties, but also with new methods of packaging and presentation.

We offer seminars to our customers on any of the product lines we grow to help educate their customers.  

Each week we post a list of our best inventory on our website. Upon request we will also fax or email this list to you every week. A complete listing of what we grow can also be found on the website.
